Julia is one of the UKs most famous actresses, having been in countless television shows. Starting as a child actress, she had a leading role in a popular children's show Press Gang. In her adult life, she has become a house hold name with the role of Saffy in Absolutely Fabulous, and as Lydia in the BBC production of Pride and Prejudice.
She has been linked to men such as Keith Allen, and her Jonathan Creek co star Alan Davies, however she is currenlty single.
