Carla Borrego started as a talent agent after doing some regional programming work after her media studies course. She has since returned to television and is now a TV presenter on the show Eyes and Ears. It's a "crime watch" type show where reconstructions of crimes are created to help jog members of the public's memories in order to help police with their enquiries.
Carla is a fiesty yet vulnerable woman who is failry easily taken in by a pretty face. Her relationship with Vernon Spools is a prime example of this.
She was clearly attracted to Jonathan at one point, and showed her vulnerable side by demanding to know why he hadn't called her to see how she was after there time togethre at Domdorf castle. It had only been the day before and he thought she may have wanted a lie in.
An ambitous woman, she clearly loves being recognised in the street as the face of Eyes and Ears. She has now firmly moved on from representing famous people to becoming one herself.
Quick to judge, she doesn't forgive easily - especially in Jonathan's case. She mis heard him say that her father was a "Prick-ly character" as he had the hiccups, and immediately went off him and refused to return his calls. She also shows an impulsive nature as she promptly goes and gets married to flush Jonathan out of her system.

Carla has had a few relationships that we know of. A short lived fling with Vernon Spolls (not his real name!). A fairly stable realtionship with Jonathan, until the hic-cup when she took him home to meet her parents, and now she is married to Brendan Baxter.
In the later episodes, we start to see Carla wishing she hadn't married Brendan, and finding out she quite likes Jonathan again, but there's not muchhope of that becoming anything.
You get the impression she may have married Brendan for his TV contact rather than true love.
